This documentary tells the spirited story of three brave athletes. Tatyana McFadden age 17, Hannah McFadden age 10 and Juan Chavarria age 16, are patients of the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.

Tatyana was born with Spina Bifida, and is unable to use her legs. However, this does not hinder her from participating in physical activities. Tatyana is involved with wheelchair racing, basketball, table tennis and swimming.

Hannah was diagnosed with Proximal Femoral Focal Deficiency. This prevented her left leg from being fully developed. Just like her sister, Hannah loves to participate in wheelchair racing, basketball, table tennis and swimming.

Juan’s diagnosis remains unknown although his condition is very similar to Spina Bifida. Unable to use his legs, he enjoys playing wheelchair basketball but his true passion is swimming.

These three young courageous children don’t allow their disabilities to slow them down or give up hope. Shriners Hospital for Children have been working side by side with them to live their life to the fullest.
